Every patient encounter benefits from a pre and/or post visit electronic interview.  Whether screening, assessing, tracking or gathering feedback, the information drawn from the patient is extremely valuable.  It is the primary reason practices use the Patient Tools system.

For example, consider the types of pre-visit (from home, in the waiting room or in the exam room) information that are gathered.  Histories, screening/assessment (health risk, psychosocial, disability, etc) and tracking (function, treatment, condition management, etc) information, automatically summarized and trended in a report for the provider before they see the patient, has tremendous advantages.

  • The provider, or their staff, does not have to spend time gathering the information which is immediately available for decision support
